Bread, Pizza & Pasta
Bread, time and the art of paying attention
Crust, crumb and everyday gestures: bread invites us to slow down.

An independent food information project · MYEAT
A whole loaf changes the pace of a table. We look at its crust, find a knife and choose the thickness of a slice. Ordinary gestures tell a story of sharing: placing something in the middle and making it available to everyone.
Taste bread without additions to notice its texture, aroma and flavour. Thin and thick slices suggest different uses, from accompanying a soup to holding the toppings of a bruschetta.
Leftover bread offers another beginning: small croutons for vegetable soup, toasted crumbs to finish pasta or slices softened in another preparation. Everyday cooking gains character when we pay attention to what remains.
